The Board of Directors will meet on February 18, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at the Hancock County Engineer’s meeting room located at 1900 Lima Ave. in Findlay. Public is welcome to attend.
The Blanchard River Watershed Partnership has elected their officers for 2015. Elected President was Tim Brugeman, Theresa Allen was elected Vice President, Tim Macke was elected Treasurer, and Bob Connour was elected Secretary. Looking forward to a great 2015. Work on installing a Wooded Riparian Buffer along Lye Creek on East Main Cross St. in Findlay is completed. Follow the progress on our Facebook page or check under the “Get Involved – Education Sources tab” for more information.
The BRWP is supporting an effort by the Sierra Club to conduct a Volunteer Chemical Testing Monitoring Program in the Blanchard River watershed. The testing will be done on public land and will provide important data on were there might be potential areas of impairments in need of restoration. Call 419.422.6487 for more information.
